BLACK SPARROE is an unorthodox extension of my artistic creation. Unadulterated by my commercial creative style and thinking via public murals, graphic design, etc. This new beginning was a way for me to “get back to my roots” and rediscover why I loved being an artist. Creating with no rules, only through feeling and the desire to make, I dreamt object into reality.
The inception of B.S. started with simple creative play. Kendall has always been a fan of fashion and creative outward expression. Years before this project began, his wardrobe already consisted of 80% thrifted items. The variety of unique clothing he could find, in combination with very low prices, led to a large surplus of clothing he collected overtime. After growing fond of multiple thrifted pairs of pants he had worn to mural sites that collected paint drips, brush strokes and hand smears, he began weaving them into his everyday commonplace wardrobe. That new added flare in his expression sparked this current venture for his creative career….
